Background

Why does this problem exist?

Enterprises adopt AI but lack standardised indicators to measure whether AI is actually improving decisions and business outcomes. Existing metrics focus on model accuracy rather than on the quality of the human-AI decision and its governance.

02

Problem Statement

What gap exists?

What performance indicators should define whether enterprise AI is effective, reliable, and governed — beyond technical model metrics?

03

AI Logic Engineering Position

What does the discipline currently believe?

This research connects to the Enterprise KPI Framework component of the Enterprise AI Framework and to the AI Verification Framework. The discipline holds that indicators must measure human-AI decision quality, responsibility, and outcome — not only model performance.

04

Research Questions

What questions will this research answer?

  1. 01Which indicators measure enterprise AI effectiveness?
  2. 02How are they governed and verified?
  3. 03How do they connect to business outcomes and to human responsibility?
  4. 04How do they feed the continuous improvement cycle?
05

Proposed Methodology

How will it be investigated?

Outline pending. The research will propose a set of enterprise AI performance indicators aligned with the Enterprise AI Framework. Status: proposed topic; outline in development. This entry is a proposed research topic, not the completed research.

06

Expected Contribution

What will change if validated?

A standardised KPI framework for measuring enterprise AI performance, governance, and decision quality.

07

Future Integration

Which framework will eventually adopt the findings?

Enterprise AI Framework (Enterprise KPI Framework component) and the AI Verification Framework.
