The Discipline · Edition 2026

The Discipline

A structured discipline for Human Decision Making in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.

Proposed Methodology

AI Logic Engineering is presented as a proposed methodology, not a definitive solution. It is published openly to invite academic review, critique, and continual refinement through future editions.

§ 01

What is AI Logic Engineering?

AI Logic Engineering studies the discipline of applying structured human decision-making to Artificial Intelligence.

Every major technological revolution has automated human labour. Artificial Intelligence is the first widely accessible technology that appears to automate human thinking. The greatest challenge of the AI era is therefore not technological — it is preserving human judgement while benefiting from machine intelligence.

Where Prompt Engineering asks "how do I communicate with AI?", AI Logic Engineering asks "how do I decide with AI?"

AI Logic Engineering exists to ensure that humans never outsource judgement, only execution.

The objective is not to build another AI course. The objective is to establish an academic discipline that can be studied, challenged, cited, improved, and eventually adopted by universities, organisations, governments, and professionals.

§ 01b — Start with the Basics

Understand AI first

The discipline governs how humans use AI. Before studying the methodology, understand the technology it governs.

§ 02 — The Core Philosophy

Humans create direction.

AI accelerates execution.

Humans remain responsible.

Everything on this platform reinforces this single principle. Every framework, every module, every research note returns to it.

§ 03 — The Brand Architecture

The Discipline Hierarchy

Every framework strengthens the parent discipline. Nothing competes with it. Everything belongs inside it.

The Living Methodology

Like PMBOK, ITIL, and ISO standards, AI Logic Engineering is published in annual editions. Edition 2026 is the foundational publication. Each subsequent edition refines, expands, and improves the methodology based on academic review and practitioner feedback.

The founder is presented not as the creator of a finished product, but as the editor and steward of an evolving methodology. This framing invites discussion, enables new editions, and encourages academics and practitioners to engage with the work rather than passively consume it.
